I found this one a week ago and was blown away:

Alabama Shakes - You Ain't Alone

I think this band is still pretty unknown, but with those Janis Joplin-esque vocals, I hope they won't be for much longer.

My favorite Billy Idol song, Adam in Chains from his awesome Cyberpunk album. The video's pretty trippy, too.

Tomorrow People and Shangri-La are also very cool, if 100% orthagonal to what one would expect to hear after hearing the words 'Billy Idol.'
