And some may remember the very short-lived Titans L.A. that pop up in a lot of IB's questions ( ). But how many people know that there was supposed to be another Titans West in between them? In the late 80s/early 90s Marv Wolfman and George Perez had plans to create a sister-title to the New Teen Titans that would have starred a new version of this team. First person to tell me who the 5 pre-existing Titan characters that would have formed the core of this team are wins. I only just found out about this almost-team too and now I'm rueing what might have been. Apparently, it was a toss-up between this book and Teen Titans Spotlight and editorial chose TTS instead which is super-annoying because a) how good would another Wolfman/Perez Titans book have been?; and b) TTS was really boring. As for your guesses, you only have one correct. 1. 2. Red Star 3. 4. 5. Though I imagine Herald and Bumblebee would have had to make a guest-appearance or two since Wolfman had just established them as living on the West Coast around this time too.
