Author Topic: TRUE BLOOD Set There's not a word yet, for old friends who've just met. posted                           I might like vampire Tara even better than regular Tara, if she ever gets her crap together. Forcing her into constant interactions with Pam just does wonders for both characters (and gives them a reason to keep relevant to the show, with their respective relationships with Sookie and Eric on the outs). I still kinda miss the snarky sassy Lafayette from season 1, who would hop over a counter and pick a fight with three good old boys and make them back down. Between Eric-inspired PTSD and his 'stand around and watch Jesus do stuff' of the last season or so, I'm bored with wimpy neurotic post-traumatic Lafayette. The more bored I grow with the actual plots on this show the more I become curious about things like exactly who does the cleanup in Authority HQ after somebody gets whacked at the conference table? Who orders the office supplies? Why is the Vampire White House in Louisiana anyway? I'm finding this season to be alright, not great. My favorite plotline is the new Pam/Tara situation. Those 2 could carry their own show!
