Legion World has a strong tradition of roleplaying on the Mission Monitor Board forum. A large part of these were the various establishment threads. A thread would represent a shop/institution run by various Legion Worlders, or in some cases they represented a poster's own "room", where posters could go either as their LMB alter-egos or even as themselves.
Many of these threads played key roles in various LMB mega role-playing stories and events once upon a time, while others served as springboards for stories located in the Bits of Legionnaires Business forum.
As a celebration of these threads, I present to you - the Legion World Establishments Directory! There are 2 sections -
- one for establishments and shops
- one for more private "abodes" that are meant to represent a poster's dwelling (but are still open for all to post in!). Seats of government/administration are included here.
**I probably missed a few threads while compiling, so please feel free to post here or PM me with a link to any thread I missed. I'll add to the master list.
***Note - I had to make a distinction between one-off campaign threads, and threads which seemd to have been meant to be continued (i.e. had a permanent structure and features such as pool tables, a bar, and so on). Only the former are included here.
Hot and Light Restaurant - Blaze and IB's new restaurant, called Hot and Light as a play on their powers and because food is served piping hot and without preservatives or other fatty additives. The restaurant features food from every country in the world.
Kent's Barbecue - Kent's legendary barbecue is a recurring event that promotes LW solidarity!

The Office of Security - the HQ of the team that polices Legion World! (not too sure on the team lineup anymore, but it has included Cobalt Kid, Lard Lad, Dev-Em, Arachne, Shark Lad and Invisible Brainiac, among others. Also has numerous past threads; the third one is here. This one links to the other past threads, including a Memorial thread for fallen officers.
The Princess Crujectra Center - formerly the Legion World Embassy of Psyonia, the center now offers guidance and shelter for any and all in need

The Bunker - Lon and Cobie's hangout. Will have a new tenant after the Dark Oval storyline (c/o Dev-Em)
HighPriestessViviane's Holy Isle, Avalon - beautiful, peaceful and secluded island that is home to the High Priestess Viviane (though I'll have to check, is she still extant? Does Tempest own this isle now?). Feel free to enjoy the relaxing natural beauty.

Raltvee - as written by Emily Sivana: "The Republic of Raltvee is a member of the United Planets and an important economic power. They are most well known for the production of textiles and role in the spice trade. Their major rival is the Kingdom of Nasger, and there have been wars between the two in the past."

Thanks, Emily. I'd intended this to be a directory of actual threads, though. Perhaps we can also make a separate thread for actual locations in the LMB-verse? That would be a big help for us writers and role-players!

Added the Raltvee thread to the "Others" category on the list, since it's a separate planet BUT has its own thread. I believe Emily intends for it to be a roleplay setting, but of course PM her before you jump in since it's in Bits and not the MMB
