.....And NOW my favorite song is Everyone I love is Dead, by Type O Negative.
" Lovin you, is like Lovin the dead.... "

Hey Lash, "Let's Get Retarded" is the original, unedited album version. The released version is "Let's Get It Started" cause well, I don't think they wanted to offend people. I think newer versions of the CD might have bother versions of the song - I'm not sure. Sample un-P.C. lyric from "Let's Get Retarded" : "Bob ya head la epilepsy, up inside your club or in your bentley"
Selections from my latest playlist: Death Cab For Cutie - "Title And Registration"
Jamie Cullum - "These are the Days"
His stuff has been out for a couple of years and is, well primarily French, but check out Sinclair - "Come Closer" for an English song by this funky Frenchmen. My favorite French song by him is "C'est Si Bonne Comme Ca"
Scissor Sisters - Most of the album but especially "It Can't Come Quickly Enough" and "Take Your Mama"
Keane - "Bend and Break"
Michael Buble - "Spider-man Theme" (Have you heard this version? Its swingin' baby!)
Finger Eleven - "One Thing"
Polyphonic Spree - "Hold Me Now"
Also the Garden State soundtrack has a lot of good stuff on it...(Frou Frou, Shins, etc.)
Fan's of Maroon 5's singles should check out there non-single stuff like "Sunday Morning" or "Woman" from "Spider-man 2"

Finger Eleven is drastically overplayed here. Five stations, all claiming different formats, play that song regularly (every 2.5 hours.) Not that it's a bad song, I just got tired of it real quick.
Scissor Sisters is really getting wroked in my jukebox. And I'm getting to know the Polyphonic Spree.

Really? I don't listen to the radio much so I've only heard it once or twice...
Another little ditty I like is I Am The World Trade Center's "Classic".

I'm getting back into my Sophie Ellis-Bextor fixation. This time around, I'm really liking the paranoia of "I Can't Sleep when the Walls Keep Saying Your Name"

Thanks for clearing it up, Monkey-- I figured it had to do with political correctness. I played the original "Let's Get Retarded" version on the juke last night and actually prefer the remake "Let's Get It Started".
re: Sophie Ellis-Bextor, "Murder on the Dancefloor" is a cute video! She *really* wants o win that contest, I love it.
