It seemed like they were setting something up with that storyline only to have it dropped. I hope they pick up on it again if only for closure's sake. It is still smart and it is still hilarious. EW called Parks and Recreation (which I also LOVE) the smartest show on TV, but I think COMMUNITY has it beaten. Speaking of EW, this year they are FINALLY doing weekly recaps, which are often as much fun as the show itself!
