The trailer for the next episode is neat. Hopefully, it will be online soon. Click Here For A SpoilerI LOL'd at the use of the characters' symbols, but why? Do they wear vinyl jackets in the 30th Century? If not, why create a jacket or shirt with the characters' symbol? One interesting twist is the appearance of Click Here For A SpoilerPersuader. Will other members of the Fatal Five appear?

VERY exciting to see that in the trailer (though if you blinked, you missed it! My kids caught it, I rewound the recording, watched it again, STILL missed it, and only barely saw it the 3rd time before finally getting a good look frame-by-frame.)
Too bad it's not being aired until January, not only because of the agonizing wait, but also because this means it will just miss being aired during the year of the 50th anniversary (though I guess you can still count the trailer as the first "live action TV appearance" of the Legion ...and I hope nobody brings up that cheesy live-action Mordru thing from the 70s...besides, he's not actually a Legionnaire anyway).
One other thing: Note in the trailer they said "new heroes" before "new enemies"...the point being, this sounds like we might be seeing the LSH (or at least the Persuader) for more than one episode?
Anyone know if that's possible?

Thank you veryvery and UltraStar for those images captured from YouTube! Ok so the founders look pretty good together, hope they "talk the talk" as well as they look the part. Even Persuader looks good (not cheesy). Hey I wonder how Brainiac ties into the Fatal Five. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. I for one am willing to wait until Jan/09 as I'm sure this will be one of Smallville's greatest episode, and fan favorite (on par with my personal fav Justice League episode from season 6.

"Rokk" looks pretty cool. "Imra" looks like a space-tart. Garth looks like an 11th grader in a varsity jacket.
They couldn't do better than this?

I agree, Garth looks a little young next to the other two... but Imra a space tart? Nope, sorry she looks pretty and a perfect fit for the role. I like make up and well kept hair on a girl. Girls who actually look like girls for me, all the way!!!

hahah i don't care how baby/old they look. considering how old lois looks and that clark is the hugest person in the world and like... 19... i'm not really going to complain.
i think imra looks nice, cos looks like a guy from babylon 5 and garth is dorky looking but cute. who cares! as long as they deliver some cool character!! i'd love to see a dweeby garth and slick cos! AS LONG AS THEY ARE AWESOME!!!

I'm wondering now .... is this a little window into Geoff Johns mind?
Because if it is, it would explain why Johnsboot Rokk looks so old, and Imra is an early-middle-aged matron married to a man who looks and acts like he's going through his second puberty.

This show has consistently used the West Coast of Canada acting pool over its life span. While British Columbia has a nice artistic community, this explains how Lana Lang of Kansas can be a dark-haired daughter of Indonesian Dutch and Chinese ex-pats with a west coast Canadian accent.
Come to think, given the incoming US President's life story, the casting of Kristen Kreuk as all-american heartland cheerleader Lana Lang is kinda forward looking.
Its obvious who the real leaders of the LSH are from the way that shot is set up if not the casting. Lightning Lad is right where Imra has kept her man since she stole that election all those years ago, two steps behind and in the dark when it comes to her professional decisions.

Agreed on liking the look of Imra and Rokk, but not so much Garth. I am just tickled pink to see them on my screen, even if I have to wait until next freaking year...
