And, I dunno, it seemed like Sebby and Sam Pureheart have something kinda goin' on, as well. And, well, they can touch, too...
He would fit right in with the Sivana family, that's for sure. Uncle Lex would welcome him in warmly. A family that Slays Together wouldn't care about a ten year age difference.
Sebby/Sam (Samby?) is possible too, would really create the beginning of a Love Dodecahedron. If the interest is there and Abin's okay with it, I would write it.
What do the rest of you (my collaborators and audience) think?

For Cobie/Emily my imagination is running wild! Crazy Fawcett City, with tons of crazier relatives. In Sivana family meetings, which are held in the style of the Howards in The Boleyn Girl.
Sebbie/Sam would be fun simply cause they are complete opposities. We have realism vs. surrealism, introvert vs. extrovert, blond vs. brown hair, Smart Guy vs. Bruiser, to make a short list.
Abin: EDG should shoot Sebbie first if she knows what's best for her.

Updated my website again, to add Blood Ties (retitled 'Beautiful Woman'), the Tryouts of Warhawk and the Composite Supergirl, and Brave & the Bold 3000 (the team up of Hate-Face and Leeta 87).
My last fanfic excursion was something to do with introducing Zoe Saugin to the classic continuity, but it turned into a book, and I'm attacking it with a weed-whacker, trying to trim it down to a novella...
And yeah, I still have to get around to writing up some *male* characters, some day, and focus a little less on Belladonna, Saucy Jones, Krypton Girl, the Composite Supergirl and Laser Ape.
Maybe a new Super-Companion fic idea will come to mind... They're manly men. Mostly.

I would be interested if you wrote some male characters! Do you write established characters? If you do I would be interested in reading anything with Elysion, evil Element Lad, and/or Chemical Kid.

Yeah, I've got quite a few fics with established Legionnaires at the site linked above. I try to put in parenthesis after the name of the fic what Legionnaires you can expect to see in them, and many are just character moments, and not actual stories with action scenes and the like.

Elysion kinda/sorta appears in Smoke & Mirrors (alternate version of issue 50 of the 'threeboot') but I haven't really concentrated on the threeboot characters since the 'classic' continuity / Johnsboot came out.
In an alternate universe, in my head, one where Mysa and Blok are living happily ever after on the Sorcerer's World, and she has used her magic to allow them to consumate their relationship, they have a kid named Elysion, with earth-manipulating powers. He looks like threeboot Elysion, but is a bit more even-tempered...
An evil Element Lad (or Cosmic King, for that matter) would be ridiculously scary, if written to his potential. You'd almost have to put some sort of limit on his power (as Waid did, in the Threeboot) to stop him from killing people in huge swathes with a wave of his hand... The inability to affect living creatures directly would be one option (turn the air around you into poison? or inertron? fine. turn your skin into white phosphorous, or your blood into explosive sodium? over the top!).
In any event, I'd be more likely to use Cosmic King, over an evil Element Lad. The whole Progenitor thing kinda soured me on that.
Chemical Kid (or King) also has a lot of potential. I'm not 100% comfortable enough with the personalities of the new Academy recruits to write them, yet.

Definitely Abin...the Monitor Board Symbols, The Micros from Candle and Future.
Thanks on the Onevision. Had that idea in the hopper for a little while, and decided to go with it now. More to come on it.

This right here is awesome: Click Here For A SpoilerEx raised an eyebrow. "The Long Klordny... you know... that sort of noire case where the Klordny Killer was systematically eliminating all the remaining members of the Large Handsome crime cartel?"
I would love to write that story. "The Long Halloween" is my third favorite trade-paper back.

Thanks Em... we'll have to do a collab on that if that timeline actually comes to pass.
I've got to second (or third) the praise for all the activity in going on these days in Bits.
Between Drake's Legion of Light, sketches from Peebs and l.e.g.i.o.n.John, new micros from Shady and Future, cool fics from Dev and Emily on top of the Dark Oval jam, and now the return (with a vengeance) of Lash's Fandagos, this past month has made this forum my first stop whenever I log-in to LW.
I can't wait to see what September brings!

"Middlefinger IX" SPACE-rawked, Ex! Love the focus on little-to-never-seen LMBers mixed with juicy continuity porn! Funny, clever and entertaining!

Dev, absolutely love the intro of Angdar Fel and the world-building you've done for Thanager in the LMBverse.
A strong new addition to LMB lore and I know one day eventually we'll have to see a story where Angdar leads the LMB back home.

Ex, your recent onevision is just about one of the coolest things that I've ever read. You combined several elements that I love:
Gave tons of little scene LMBers a chance to shine (I used to try to do this where I could when I did the continuity).
You delved into LMB history in a nice way that enhanced the theme of your story (which is probably the single best theme of both the LMB and the Legion itself about the nature of teamwork and how powers are used). Plus you furthered the story of Middlefinger that Eryk and I started years ago!
You used some awesome science to cleverly give the heroes the win!
And your writing style is just so fun, intelligent, humorous and yet poignant that I crave more.
I definitely intend to use Awkward Pause Boy soon, as I already have an idea for him! And you've made Chaim perhaps the greatest exposition character ever! And I have huge plans for Middlefinger VII but when all is said and done, we will be working on War of the Middlefingers, my friends. (AND I also want to see the Long Klorndy!).
