What? No other submissions? D%

Well, I threw this one together to contribute, because let's be honest with ourselves: who didn't think 'Little Red Riding Hood" with that outfit of his?

Great job Lurker Lass! Always great to see new talent here in the Museum. Maybe you should start your own art thread - I'd love to see more [Smile]

I've been lazy, but I'll try to get something up soon.

Coming from you two, that means a lot - thanks!

I haven't really got enough finished stuff yet, but hopefully whan school lets out for Christmas I'll have some more time on my hands to work on some proper pieces.

Looking forward to everyone else's submissions, hint hint. It's already the 25th, and there's only two??

What a well crafted drawing. I like his feet!

I don't have any new art for this exhibit, but I do have some old stuff, that I did when those issues were new, that I'd like to scan and post.

So little time, so much LW fun to have!

This is the sketch I did when the Legion on the Run storyline began. It's basically my rendition of the cover that had the cut-out and the silver. Well, the *inside*
part of that cover.

My art's changed quite a bit since then, but in many ways it's the same. Interesting...

Awesome submission Lurker Lass! And Sketch, neat 'classic' piece that really shows how you're style has changed! Since you did a manip, here's me trying to draw:
Wildfire/NRG questioning his costume choice -
 -
& Spider Girl/Wave going incognito -

You have a great sense of humour, MEL! Does it come from all that monkey stew?

Lurker Lass - love the Big Bad Furball. Another funny entry. Who knew the LotR could be fun?

Dean, Jewel should make it into a TOP MODEL competition. Nice group sketch. I don't have the original cover at hand, but I'm betting you put Jewel in that pose. [Smile]

Ol' Man Dox looks like he's mall-walkin'!

Tee hee!

Hah! But the image doesn't show up in Mozilla. Okay in IE.

[LOL]

That's hella-kewl Drake!

I want more submissions for this era. I think if LW were to get behind it, it would help me convince myself that this era wasn't all that bad.

I was going to write a rap based on the plot of LotR, but then I couldn't remember the actual plot of the story!

Posted by Cobalt Kid on :

The dialogue felt like I was smoking crack
But who cares?--Wildfire's back!
The 5YL thing was starting to wear thin
But who cares?--we got kick-ass Brin!
By now true Legion continuity was beyond editorially save
but who cares?--Mysa looked great, and so did Wave!
It wasn't the greatest, but some moments were fun
and that's why its hard to hate Legion on the Run

Drake that's so awesometastic! I kinda reminds me of the Scoobie Gang's running sequences in their opening credits [Smile]

And Cobie, I don't know much about this era but the costume designs were just ehn to me. Not early enough color and flash and stylishness. I guess when you're on the run the Athramites can't really keep up with you...

Wow, MEL, I totally agree!

I did redesigns for all of them, back then. I'll have to either dig and post those, or do new sketches of those designs.

I know that I literally made a "dragon" costume for Jo. Think Hawkman's mask, but green and scaly.

I was always bothered by a blue haired girl named Wave wearing a brown jacket! Huh?

I thought Cos and Laurel were just so generic. They both needed some punch to their new looks. I think I made Polestar all metallic-clad. I think Laurel looked like something from the cover of Heavy Metal.

I recall making Virus look like a Borg, and I think that was before I knew what the Borg were. I made sure her blue leg showed.

I liked that they made Jewel act all flirty and sexy, so my costume design really leveraged on her new lack of inhibition. It was basically only jewels, strategically placed.

I think I put old man Brainy in a hover chair.

I made NRG, Neon and Pulse all glowy people, with no clothing, just crackling energy fields.

Sorry to ramble....just reminiscing...

I don't know if this is the right place to put her, but here's a drawing of Amethyst by Humberto Ramos:
 -

And one of her by AH!
 -

I wonder if she's going to join with Mysa at some point.
I hope so.
A Mysa/Amethyst/Zoe character would be pretty awesome.
